Shopfloor Manager (m/f/d)

Your mission

  • Professional and disciplinary leadership of the shopfloor team (production, manufacturing, maintenance)
  • Organization and supervision of on-time execution of modifications and repairs on aircraft components
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements (EASA, LBA, SMS), internal processes, and quality standards
  • Capacity and resource planning as well as coordination of work orders
  • Close collaboration with Engineering, Quality Assurance, Procurement, and Logistics
  • Implementation and continuous improvement of lean management methods and shopfloor processes
  • Training and development of employees in collaboration with the HR department

Your profile

  • Completed technical vocational training, ideally with further qualification as a master craftsman/technician or comparable certification
  • Several years of experience in leading a production area, preferably in the aviation industry or another regulated environment (e.g. automotive)
  • Solid knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality management and occupational safety
  • Very good user knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems
  • Very good written and spoken English skills (any additional foreign language skills would be an advantage)
  • Process and project-oriented approach
  • Hands-on mentality
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Target- and solution-focussed approach
  • Onboarding: Up to 3 months at the Memmingen location
  • Driving licence (min. Cat. B)
