- Using a software tool, inspect incoming and outgoing goods, along with the corresponding documentation, by testing specified sample sizes
- Produce the required test documentation, such as inspection records, weight reports, etc.
- Prepare and coordinate complaints (internal, from customers and for suppliers)
- Work with managerial, design and production staff to plan inspections
- Test a range of complex parts (geometrical and dimensional tolerances, visual inspection) using test drawings, inspection instructions, templates and prototypes
- Independently assess and manage the approval and/or suspension of parts
- Seek clarification by communicating with supervisors, goods in, dispatch, purchasing, scheduling and production
- Management of the quarantine stock
- Management of the measuring and test equipment
- Participate in process optimisation
- Assist the technical department with product and process issues

- Familiar with the use of MS Office and ERP systems
- Good written and spoken German and English skills (any additional foreign language skills would be an advantage)

- Willingness to travel up to 30%
